Big day tomorrow I have to go and put gas in my...
The Move...
I am finally in my apt! Move day was quite traumatic as it I got lost on my first big (5 + min) drive on my own however if you get lost just head to the airport, it worked and I finally got downtown.
Trauma part 2 came when I had all my furniture delivered, there were 70 boxes…..70 boxes of stuff! It was lucky I picked this apartment as literally I don’t think all this stuff would have fitted...
I PASSED!
Driving Update 3
I have now -
Driven in the rain
Do the cone thing forward and backward to the left and to the right
Driven in dark
Driven on the highway
Changed lanes lots
and the biggest most exciting maneuver ……..
turned right on red! yes that is legal here and as I learned it’s not optional unless you like honking car horns
So fingers crossed I will pass
Thursday Nights.....
In New York Thursday night was great, it was the start of the weekend, it usually involved happy hour in fancy bar, after work drinks in the pub, girly dinners, sometimes even a date.
