Where I looked like an idiot before 8 am
So this morning I am outside watering my herb plants (yup I do stuff like that now) and see what appears to be a whole lot of smoke coming out of my neighbor’s apt. So after staring probably for a good five minutes debating whether I should just leave for work, as there were no alarms (I live in a building that regularly has fire alarms go off) and I do have renters insurance after all then...
Where I realise I don't live in a city
This week I have seen about 8 dead, mangled deer on the sides of the roads, some on big big big roads with lights and everything. Each time it shocks me and makes me jump and then I get all shakey, it’s almost like watching bambi each morning. Then this morning there was a real live one on the road running up the hard shoulder like seriously can’t they see the lights are they doing...

Scenes from a Segway
This Sunday “somebody” came up with a coupon for a Segway tour of Columbus and actually convinced a number of other people that it could be quite fun…..turns out if was!
After a bit of wobbling and nervousness we all managed to get up and moving
Obviously the whole segway part was the most fun part but even some of the tour part was quite interesting….
