Getting up to go the gym at 7am on Saturday....gym...

Last weekend I took my baby sister back to university. Although I wasn’t quite looking forward to spending two nights sharing a single bed in a halls of residence (dorms) we did get to go past the Angel of the North.
Not exactly a great picture but it was better than the one I took that turned out just to be a pylon backlit by a green Holiday Inn sign
Fun at a funeral
I knew this trip wasn’t going to be fun, it was expected yet unexpected at the same time. Even through the tears and sad times we managed to have some fun times remembering Nannie. There were pictures, stories and general family camaraderie that seems to occur when we all get together, I think Nannie would have been happy. It was said more than once she would have loved it if she could...
Funny to some
What was not fun about this trip was being told maybe I should consider letting my little sister wear the dress I was planning to wear. The reason being I was told that maybe I should consider looking at the size said dress. This was followed by a shopping trip where my mum found it highly amusing to take me to Evans (a plus size store).
At least it made her laugh
Cheers to Nannie
After a pretty draining day we said cheers to Nannie in the most Scarborough way possible…. Knickerbocker Glory’s and Bananarmmmas at the Harbour Bar followed by the penny slot machines
