When you turn up to a house party with a tear stained face from being homesick after watching the jubilee celebrations you get the big wine glass and that’s when you realize you have some pretty nice friends here

It’s Wednesday and there has been two days recovering and I am still not 100%, I am putting this down to there being so much fun this weekend not that I am probably getting too old to be having this much fun. What was so great was that 80% of the weekend was not planned the fun just kept coming…..
By the days
Friday started with impromptu margaritas and pool party planning which led to a dinner at my one of my fav’s Basi Italia which then led to hot tubbing and almost agreeing to run a marathon
Saturday was meant to be for pool party preparing , errand running and a bit of homme improvement in the suburburbs, it ended at 2.30 am after a bar crawl bike ride
Sunday was THE pool party opener, next one is already on the calendar
Monday a mega text went out and surprising number showed up and the new weekly sport was discovered… wiffle ball!
